From the specifications given by the customer, the feasibility studies consists in searching and optimizing the parameters of the laser machines the most adapted to the requested application. This phase enables to check the economical technical feasibility of the process. The determination of operating parameters - necessary powder and optimal speed - and the prototype manufacturing, give an idea of the industrial exploitation costs, the profitability of an investment or the necessity to turn to subcontracting.
