More than 30% of IREPA LASER's activity consists in actions of R&D that are supported by the European Commission, the French government and the local authorities. These actions lie far up the activity of transfer of know-how and gives the possibility to our experts to offer new technological laser solutions to our industrial clients.

IREPA LASER in association with research laboratories of Strasbourg also leads research programmes on treatments of materials by laser (cutting, welding, surface treatments, .).This activity develops around 4 major axes : modelization, laser/material interaction, understanding of induced phenomena, process control.
