Metallic welding
Laser welding is a major application already used in many industries : from automotive to aircrafts, from mechanics to manufacturing. It ispresent in most industries where quality, precision and speed are required.
Our Nd:YAG and fibre lasers processes are comparable with conventional CO2 laser processes, with the benefit of fiber optics (reliability, ease of use ...). Pulse laser welding allows high accuracy through accurate control of the deposited energy during its 0.1 ms to 50 ms pulses.
Filler metal welding and hybrid welding (laser + MigMag) are new solutions combining advanced laser processing to more conventional processes. They are most adapted to welding of dissimilar materials and applications requiring deep penetration and wide welds.
Advantages of this technique :
- high welding speed
- fine and penetrating welds
- low beam distortion
- accurate welding with no post-machining
- thick weld (> 20 mm)
